I’m just back from a wonderful short group residency at Lizard Point in Cornwall (literally- the end of the garden was the end of the land!) The idea was that the residency would form part of the commemoration of 2 communication landmarks- 450 years since the Lighthouse was built at the Lizard and 50 years since the moon landings were broadcast to the world via Goonhilly Earth Station, as well as taking in the amazing dark skies and light. A few days of soaking up the light and landscape with fellow artists has recharged my batteries and I’m raring to make some work now. There will be exhibitions at both Helston Museum in Cornwall and with the Lumen Collective in London in the autumn. Watch this space.
