I’ve taken on a mini-residency at Black Nore Lighthouse, on the Severn Estuary coast in Portishead, ahead of North Somerset Arts Week, when I’ll be exhibiting my work at 12 Glenwood Rise, just behind the lighthouse. Though relatively small in stature, it makes up for it in picturesque position and has been saved and maintained by a small group of local residents. I have been lucky enough to be allowed up into the lantern of the lighthouse and managed to make this amazing cyanotype photograph whilst there. More to follow- I hope to produce a small book, and aim to run a drop in ‘sun-printing’ workshop on the last weekend of North Somerset Arts Week. Watch this space.
