I’m excited to announce that I’ll be exhibiting new work and making new work at the Courtyard Gallery, just off the High Street in Aldeburgh, Suffolk between Tuesday 27th September and Sunday 2nd October.
The gallery is run by Ballroom Arts and showcases artists and groups for 1 and 2 week exhibitions. For this week I will be showing a new body of work inspired by the Suffolk Coast (I visit fairly regularly as I have access to accommodation there).
I’m working in a new way too- collaging my hand prints on tissue paper onto boards and combining with painting and drawing.
I’ll be gathering inspiration on the beach in the early mornings and making art in the gallery during opening hours (10am-5pm). If you’re in the area, do come along- you have the added bonus of lovely Aldeburgh and it’s beach as well (the gallery is a stone’s throw from the shingle beach).
