Purchasing and Shipping terms and conditions

Every care has been taken to show the artwork as accurately as possible with regard to size and colour. The image you see online may show a difference due to slight variation between browsers, devices and screen settings. Any variation between the image represented and the actual artwork is not deemed a fault and slight inconsistencies will not be a valid reason for return.

Ordering

How do I purchase an artwork?

Either click ‘Inquire’ or ‘Purchase’ next to the piece you want to buy. This will then enable you to send an email message to me. I will reply with payment and shipping options.

How is my payment handled? 

Payments are taken as a BACS payment if in the UK, or Paypal or Stripe outside the UK. You do not need to have a PayPal account to purchase; you can use the PayPal service to pay with your regular debit or credit card. We do not store any of your debit/credit card details.

Shipping

I have placed my order, how soon will I receive my painting?

Original artworks will be packed and shipped within 5 working days. Within the UK pieces are sent by Royal Mail, Parcel Force or courier depending on size and weight.  Most UK deliveries arrive within 2 days from time of shipping. Please allow 7 working days in total. If you need delivery by a specific date, please contact me first to make sure it can reach you in time. There may be an extra charge for rush deliveries according to your requirements.

Can I collect my artwork from your studio?

Yes, if you can get to Bristol you are welcome to collect from me.  Just let me know when you place your order.  I can offer a small reduction in price for this option.

Is Shipping included? 

UK shipping and postage is included in the price of unframed works on paper and mixed media works. If you would like to buy a piece of art that is in a glazed frame, it can only be collected or delivered within the Bristol area. Please see below for larger works and international orders.

What about large or high value artworks? 

It’s important for both of us to make sure it is transported safely. Some couriers have limits on dimensions or what they will carry so certain pieces have individual requirements. Shipping costs for large artworks need to be quoted individually – this can be discussed via email when you place your order.

Can you ship internationally?

Yes, I can ship to most countries, although it will take longer to arrive depending on your location and because of the extra cost you will be charged a little extra. I will get a courier quote and check with you before I ship the piece.  The courier amount will be added to the amount you pay.

Overseas shipments (outside the UK) may be subject to import duties and taxes according to the laws of the destination country. Any additional charges are at the customer’s expense. We have no control over these charges and accept no responsibility for additional charges.

What about Brexit?

Currently, it’s not clear what extra charges will be made for EU customers. I can post to the EU, but please be aware that the package may be subject to extra fees and taxes which will be paid by you, the customer.

Returns

What if my artwork arrives and I don’t like it?

I do not offer refunds, however if you do not want the piece I can offer an exchange or credit note. So please check carefully and/or ask before purchasing.

I’m happy to re-check measurements and give very accurate sizings, as well as predicted size when framed, so please check measurements very carefully and feel free to check with me before buying.

What if my artwork arrives damaged?

All work is carefully packed and wrapped. If you receive a work that has been damaged in transit, please contact me within 7 days with a photograph and either a refund or repair can be arranged.

What about Overseas Returns?

At this time I am unable to offer a refund or return on any product(s) sent outside of the UK.
