Totterdown Arts Trail 15th-17th November

Totterdown ‘Front Room’ Arts Trail is on between 15th and 17th November, I’ll be sharing 105 Oxford Street with Jean Hathaway and Andrew Hardwick.  I am aiming to have a Bristol showing of the work I’ve produced from the Lizard Point Residency I undertook earlier in the year, large printed hangings on tissue, cyanotypes, etchings and a box of small etched and printed maps on Japanese and waxed paper.  The residency aimed to celebrate the light and dark skies of Lizard Point as well as the anniversaries of the Goon Hilly broadcasts of the 1969 moon landings, the building of the lighthouse and Marconi’s experiments on the peninsula.  I took inspiration from the navigation and mapping of the past.

I can also guarantee great work from Royal West of England Academician Andrew Hardwick and poet and artist Jean Hathaway as well as red oak leaves aplenty. More info at frontroom.org.uk
