If you or a loved one have a favourite view and you’d like me to create a personal image of it, to your specifications then please get in touch.
Commissioning your own work of art can be easy and enjoyable. Initial consultation (about subject, size, price, timescale etc) is free. Once these basics are decided, both parties sign a contract and a deposit is paid (usually 30% of the final amount).
I can work from life or from photographs. My way of working allows me to create several different pieces from one printing plate. I will present these to you to decide which one you would like framed up as your unique piece of art. Prices depend on size, timescale and framing, but could start from £300 for a 30 x 30 cms piece.
Tips for commissioning artwork:
Make sure you’re familiar with the artists work. It’s difficult to ask an artist to produce something that really isn’t what they’re good at. Both parties will end up frustrated!
You’ll need to have a fairly good idea of what you would like produced. A vague idea of the subject, size and style would be best, as well as possible colouring if you have a place in mind to put it.
